Welcome to the IBSS Program

IBSS_TeacherBoy

We’re so glad you’re here! As part of the Intensive Behavioral Student Services (IBSS) Team at SSG, you play a vital role in creating meaningful change in the lives of students, families, and school communities. Our mission is simple but powerful: together, we are transforming the lives of children and families, improving the quality of therapeutic and behavioral services, and joining with like-minded clinicians and educators in order to have a greater impact in our communities.

Through a collaborative approach that blends workforce support, specialized programs, and ongoing professional development, we’re not just filling roles — we’re helping school districts close gaps in their special education services so that students with more complex behavioral, emotional, and academic needs can thrive in the least restrictive environment — wherever they are on their journey.

We are thrilled to share this mission with you. Welcome to a team that believes in impact and innovation — let’s do great work together.

Training and Professional Development

With IBSS, professional growth isn’t an add-on—it’s a core part of who we are. We believe that well-supported professionals deliver the strongest impact, which is why training and development are built into every layer of our program.

Unlike other companies, IBSS actively negotiates with school districts to incorporate dedicated professional development days, and we embed specialized training tracks within our program so that our team has the time and opportunity to focus on evidence-based, ABA informed services and supports. From access to a host of trainings via our online platform, Bridge Academy, to supervision for levels of service providers, IBSS invests in your career every step of the way.

Wherever you are in your journey, IBSS is here to support your professional development.

Introductory Behavior Support Training

IBST is a training that SSG developed to help our team members be successful in their new role. The training covers topics like professionalism in the school setting, an introduction to special education, behavior intervention strategies, and understanding data collection.

Learn at your own pace! The training is approximately 3.5 hours long and can be broken down into 30- to 45-minute sections.

Disciplines: BT and RBT

Crisis Prevention and Safety Care Training

IBSS is committed to equipping our team with the tools and training they need to feel confident and prepared in any setting. That’s why we provide crisis prevention and intervention training required by states and districts and at no cost to our staff.

These nationally recognized trainings not only build essential skills for supporting students with behavioral needs, but they also add powerful credentials to your resume.

Certifications Offered by IBSS:

  • CPI Certifications (level requirements determined by state and/or district)
  • Safety Care Certification
  • Practical Management Training

District-Offered PD for IBSS Staff

IBSS sets itself apart by working directly with school districts to secure dedicated professional development days — something many companies overlook. In addition to our own trainings, team members may also have the chance to participate in district-led opportunities, such as professional conferences, new teacher orientations, and professional in-service days.

These experiences help ensure our team members feel informed, supported, and fully prepared to meet the evolving needs of the students and schools you service.
